Achieving Zero Waste to the Landfill
This ambition to protect nature whilst improving the welfare of the local community has achieved many milestones since 2019: five new centres were created (The Lab, Upcycling Centre, Sorting Centre, Bottling Plant, The Garden), and in 2023, 48,140kg of waste were saved from the landfill and up to 96% of total waste was processed on-site.
Glass water bottles were created to replace plastic bottled water.
Used glass bottles were the main materials utilised to create the centre for recycling and upcycling activities called The Lab.
